We believe a major component of our school’s success is strong parent and community involvement. Below are several ways parents can get involved.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch2>Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\u003Cp>Our Foothills PTO is a group of dedicated parent volunteers who collaborate with staff to support our school community. Volunteers are needed throughout the school year to help plan, coordinate, and host a variety of events. There is something for everyone, including volunteering at the school, prepping for events at home, and lending a helping hand during events.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Many PTO events also function as fundraisers for Foothills. Our main fundraiser is the Fall Fun Run. We use these funds to:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>Host a variety of free schoolwide events\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003Cli>Sponsor classroom grants and annual projects\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003Cli>Stock the coveted Foothills PRIDE cart\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003Cli>Support staff appreciation and much more\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003C\u002Ful>\n\u003Cp>All Foothills parents are automatically PTO members; we do not have membership fees or dues. Our quarterly PTO meetings are held inside the Foothills library after school. We highly encourage parents to attend, and children are always welcome. Communication is key to our PTO’s success.
