Regular attendance is vital to school success. Attendance will be taken within the first 10 minutes of the school day and after lunch.
Reporting Absences and Tardiness
To report your child absent or tardy, please call 719-234-4500 or email us the day before or by 8 a.m. on the day your child will be absent or tardy. Voice mail is available. We will call parents of any student from whom we have had no report.
Notification and Follow-up
Our 20Alert system will telephone parents after 7 p.m. on the day of an absence if the school has not been contacted regarding the absence. A note explaining the absence should be sent to the teacher when the student returns to school. Excessive absences or tardiness will be referred to the administrator for problem solving.
